What can I expect at a Blaze & Foam workshop?

Our workshops offer a welcoming, creative, and engaging environment where you can explore candle-making with expert guidance. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter, we ensure a fun and inspiring experience.

What is the minimum number of participants for a workshop?

All public and private workshops require a minimum of 10 participants to proceed.

What kind of workshop materials will I be using?

Yes. We adhere to strict ethical and quality standards. All our products are:
Vegan
Palm oil-free
Phthalate-free
FDA-approved and skin-friendly

What should I wear to the workshop?

We recommend comfortable clothing. Aprons are available on-site.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages. For public workshops, please be mindful of food allergies.

Can a private workshop be extended?

Private workshops may be extended for an additional fee, subject to availability. Public workshops conclude on time due to scheduling requirements.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal.

What if I arrive late?

Public Workshops: Late arrivals up to 15 minutes are accommodated, but we cannot respond to calls or messages once the session starts. No refunds or date transfers for no-shows.

Private Workshops: Sessions begin and end as scheduled. Late arrivals will reduce your workshop time.

Do you accept NDIS bookings?

Yes. We accept NDIS-funded bookings, but as we are not a Registered NDIS Provider, bookings must be pre-approved and pre-paid by your plan manager.

Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

Our venues in Mornington and Richmond are located on the ground floor with step-free entry. The restroom facilities are wheelchair accessible in Richmond. The toilet door may be too small for a wheelchair, however, Commonfolk Cafe directly next door has offers an accessible bathroom. We also have a list of wheelchair accessible venues for private workshops.

How do virtual workshops work?

You’ll need a stovetop, microwave, or electric heating element.

A Zoom link will be sent prior to the session. No Zoom account is needed, but we recommend downloading the app.

Join 5 minutes before the session begins to access the virtual waiting room.

Can I purchase supplies after the workshop?

We don't always bring product to workshop. Pre-ordering for pickup is available—use code WORKSHOPPICKUP at checkout and we will bring your order to the workshop.

What are the available times for private events?

Private workshops can be scheduled on:
📅 Wednesday: 10 AM – 10 PM
📅 Thursday: 5 PM – 10 PM
📅 Friday: 7 PM – 11 PM
📅 Saturday: 10 AM – 11 PM
📅 Sunday: 10 AM – 10 PM

Where are workshops held?

📍 In-person: The Nook, Mornington and Studio 1 in Richmond for public workshops, and we travel to your office for corporate workshops.
📍 Online: Virtual workshops via Zoom

What is the booking requirement for private events?

A minimum of 10 participants or an equivalent booking value is required for a private workshop.

Is a deposit required for private events?

Yes. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.

Can I add more guests after booking for private workshops?

Yes. The minimum booking covers 10 participants, but final numbers can be confirmed two weeks prior to the event when your final invoice is due.

What is the cancellation policy?

Public Workshops: Written notice at least 7 days prior is required for rescheduling. We do not offer refunds.

Private Events: Written notice at least 14 days prior is required for rescheduling. We do not offer refunds.

Deposits for private events are non-refundable. All correspondence regarding rescheduling workshops and events must be in writing to info@blazeandfoam.com.au.

Can I bring my own containers or fragrances?

No. We provide specially designed containers and IFRA-endorsed fragrances to ensure safety and quality.

When can I take my candles home?

Candles require 2-3 hours to fully set. For 90-minute workshops, you can:

Take home semi-set candles in provided trays.

Arrange for group or individual shipping (for a fee).
