About this experience

The kids will bring home 3 hand made soaps to enjoy at bath time !


Program Duration:


2.5 hours.


Class session times:


1.30pm -4.00 pm learn to make melt & pour soap is the afternoon activity.


We have a separate class of kids candle making in the morning.


Location:


Each kids’ holiday workshop is a drop-off program in Mount Eliza on the Mornington Peninsula. (Exact location to be confirmed.)


Program details:


There will be a minimum of ten and maximum of 25 children per program.


The program is designed for children aged 7 – 16 years old. We break to play games, win prizes, and have fun.


The kids will make 3 creations to take home.


Educators: All facilitators have a current working with children check.


Safety:


Kids should wear close toed shoes and a long sleeve top while soap making in case of splashes. Melt and pour soap washes easily out of clothes. Our fragrances are phthalate free.

Q & A


Your child will choose their own colour, mould and fragrance and make 3 soaps. We will emphasise safety tips, give the students printed step-by-step instructions and a demonstration. We'll also go through materials before use. 



Food:


We will serve popcorn, fruit, corn chips and water. If your child has allergies or doesn’t like the food provided, you can supply your own NUT free snacks. Please alert us to any allergies via email at info@blazeandfoam.com.au. Please also remind our facilitators at drop off. Children that have an anaphylactic allergy, must bring an EpiPen. Children that don’t have an EpiPen, won’t be able to stay.

In the event that this workshop cannot run as a result of Covid, we will run it as a virtual workshop, and can mail out kits to each participant. If you would prefer to move dates to a live workshop in future, we can arrange a credit instead.



Please Note:


A Full Day Workshop is also available: We run a separate soy candle making activity in the morning 10am-12.30pm Book the soap making program here on its own here, or allow your child to complete both the morning and the afternoon program for $95 ex GST for the day. During the one-hour break between programs, the children are supervised by our experienced staff. They can eat their own home packed lunch and participate in down-time activities such as drawing, puzzles and crafts. If your child is staying for the full day, please pack them a nut free lunch to eat during the supervised one hour lunch break between programs.
